St. Thomas scores late to down Cobbers men's soccer
ST. PAUL, Minn. — St. Thomas knocked in a late goal to edge Concordia 1-0 Wednesday in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer.
George Marty scored the winning goal for St. Thomas on a pass from Jonathan Acevedo in the 89th minute. The Tommies (9-3-1, 4-2-1 MIAC) had 15 total shots and eight shots on goal, while the Cobbers had one shot with zero shots on goal.
Concordia goalie Jackson Carr recorded seven saves. The Cobbers dropped to 4-8 overall and 0-6 in the MIAC.
