West Fargo Sheyenne 44, Grand Forks Red River 12

FARGO — West Fargo Sheyenne rolled Grand Forks Red River 44-13 Thursday night in Eastern Dakota Conference football at Fargo Shanley's Sid Cichy Stadium.

Nathan Goldade had 12 carries for 126 yards and three touchdowns to lead Sheyenne. Barika Kpeenu finished with 13 carries for 107 yards and a TD. Hunter Hoffner added 48 rushing yards and a score.

Mustangs quarterback Parker Sander completed 5 of 7 passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Caden Jastram and Kpeenu each had a touchdown reception.

The Mustangs had 461 yards of offense while holding the Roughriders to 162.

Red River quarterback Parker Monette completed 9 of 16 passes for 120 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Monette added 38 rushing yards on eight attempts.

Sheyenne improved to 7-1 overall, while Red River fell to 3-5 overall.

West Fargo 32, Grand Forks Central 13

GRAND FORKS — Declan Genova ran for three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to lift West Fargo to a 32-13 win over Grand Forks Central on Thursday in a game played at the Alerus Center.

Genova finished with 21 carries for 188 yards and three scores. Packers quarterback Cooper Sahli completed 6 of 17 passes for 96 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. Dustin Mertz threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Luke Lennon. Marcus Gulley hauled in two receptions for 30 yards and a TD.

Central running back Austin Braun threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Everett Peterson. Braun added 88 yards on the ground. Sylvester Osodo kicked two field goals for the Knights.

Both teams moved to 2-6 overall.
