Class B boys cruise to victory against Class A in Lions All-Star game

BISMARCK—Class B took awhile to get rolling offensively, but the defense was there all night. Holding Class A to 29 percent shooting with 27 turnovers, Class B claimed an 83-64 victory Monday night in the Lions All-Star basketball series at Legacy High School.

Elliot Rotvold of Hillsboro-Central Valley, head coach of the Class B team, said Jacob Rodin set the pace defensively as the small-school team won for just the second time in 10 games.

"Jacob Rodin's defense set a great tone for us. He guarded a 2, 3 and 4. He's just as athletic as can be," Rotvold said.

Joe Pistorius paced Class A with 12 points.
