Pina leads RedHawks to victory against rival Winnipeg Goldeyes

FARGO—Leo Pina had four hits and drove in five runs to lead the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks to a 9-4 victory against the Winnipeg Goldeyes on Thursday in American Association baseball at Newman Outdoor Field.

Pina finished 4-for-5 and also scored a run. Maikol Gonzalez, Devan Ahart and Charlie Valerio each added two hits for F-M, which improved to 22-22 overall.

Pina had a three-run triple in the sixth inning to give F-M a 9-4 lead.

RedHawks starter Trey McNutt (2-4) earned the victory, pitching six innings. McNutt allowed four runs on seven hits, while striking out six batters and walking four.
