Cobbers split MIAC baseball doubleheader against Carleton

NORTHFIELD, Minn.—Concordia got two RBIs from Chad Johnson and Beau Wilmer to earn a 7-1 victory against Carleton on Saturday in the second game of a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference baseball doubleheader.

The Knights earned a 2-1 victory in 10 innings as the teams split the doubleheader.

Wilmer went 2-for-4 with a solo home run the in the second game. Right-handed starter Ty Severson (3-2) pitched six scoreless innings to earn the victory for Concordia, which moved to 15-18 overall and 8-10 in the MIAC.

In the first game, Griffin Bolte had an RBI single in the 10th inning to lift Carleton to victory.
