Letter: If a crisis strikes, you'll be thankful you live in this community

I want to say a heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the benefit for me on July 29 at The Bowler in Fargo.

A special thanks to the following people who helped organize, provided food and items for the silent auction, craft and bake sale: Becky, Sandy, Sue, Denise, Tasha, Jenn, Shawn, Joan, Sharon, Erin and Trey, Lisa, Tim, Joleen, Mathew and Pam.

Also, a special thank you to all of the businesses who donated items for the silent auction and luncheon. The Harwood Fire Department was also very supportive with their donation and presence and I thank them as well.

When a crisis happens, we are shown again what a great community we have here in the F-M area. Through all of this, Lend A Hand and Dakota Medical Foundation have been an immense help with ideas, guidance and display supplies for the organizing team. They made a direct donation to me as well. If I left anyone out, it has been unintentional. I am so blessed to live here.
