Moorhead 12th Avenue South input requested

The city of Moorhead is asking for input on the future of 12th Avenue South. Special to the Forum.

MOORHEAD — The city of Moorhead and Metro Council of Governments (Metro COG) are studying how 12th Avenue South is used today and what ideas, needs and improvements could happen in the future.

There will be an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 for the public to share comments about the roadway, with a formal presentation at 5 p.m. The meeting will be on the Concordia College campus off 12th Avenue South, in the Birkeland Lounge, Offutt Concourse, between Memorial Auditorium and Olson Forum. Free event parking will be available south of 12th Avenue, off 7th Street.

The public can also submit comments through an online survey.

Information about the study is available at www.cityofmoorhead.com/departments/engineering/current-projects/12th-ave-s.
