West Fargo man accused of unprovoked attack outside bar
WEST FARGO — A West Fargo man faces an assault charge in Cass County District Court stemming from an attack outside a West Fargo bar in September.
Thomas Robert Huus, of West Fargo, is charged with one Class C felony count of aggravated assault.
According to court documents:
About 11:57 p.m. on Sept. 28, police were dispatched to Bar Nine in West Fargo for a report of an assault.
Officers found a man lying on the ground with his face bleeding.
The victim's girlfriend told officers Huus had punched him several times in the face.
Both the victim and his girlfriend told authorities the assault was unprovoked, court records show.
The victim was transported to Sanford Medical Center, where it was determined he suffered a broken bone to the right side of his face, court records said.
As of Thursday afternoon Huus did not have an attorney of record.
