FARGO — A women's clothing boutique is still settling into its new digs after making a move in downtown Fargo earlier this month.

Pink Luxe Boutique opened April 14 in its new storefront at 214 Roberts Alley, located in the alley between Broadway and Roberts Street that runs from Second Avenue North to Fourth Avenue North. The business was first launched about four years ago by owner Erica Meech, who most recently operated the store at 406 Broadway N.

Meech said things have been going well since she made the move to Kilbourne Group's Roberts Commons building, which is being built around the Roberts Commons parking garage that opened last summer. Several other stores, museums and other businesses have also announced their plans to relocate to the building, including Ecce Gallery, which opened earlier this month at 208 Roberts Alley.

Meech said she's tentatively planning to hold an open house sometime in mid-May to officially celebrate her move to a spot she's planned on for a couple of years.

"I've always had my eyes on this place because I like the small, niche shops," she said. "That's what people want right now."

Pink Luxe Boutique is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, though Meech said hours could be changed for the summer. For more information about the store, call 701-936-1396 or visit www.facebook.com/shopplb.
